What you get when you register with Serverlys
The price you see
First-year registration is listed per extension below. Renewal is charged at the published renewal rate, and checkout shows it before you pay.
Privacy included
Registration puts your contact details into public RDAP records unless they are masked. Where the registry permits it, we mask them at no charge.
A person when you need one
Registration is usually instant. When it is not — a registry hold, a verification email — you get someone who can read the whole ticket.
DNS in one place
Point the name at Serverlys hosting, at your own nameservers, or at another provider entirely. Records stay editable either way.

Renewals, privacy and DNS live together, so pointing the name at a website or an inbox takes a minute, not a support ticket.
- Auto-renew. A lapsed domain can be re-registered by anyone. Keep it on.
- Free WHOIS privacy. Contact details masked wherever the registry allows it.
- Editable DNS. Point it at Serverlys hosting, your own nameservers, or another provider.
How to register a domain name
1. Search the name
Type the name you want. We ask the registry directly rather than guessing from a list.
2. Read the answer honestly
The registry answers available, registered, or unknown. Unknown means it did not answer — never that the name is free.
3. Pick the extension
If .com is gone, an alternate may be the better name anyway. Prices per extension are below.
4. Check the trademark
Availability at the registry is not permission to trade under a name. Check before you build a brand on it.
5. Register at checkout
Our search hands off to the Serverlys cart with the name prefilled. The cart is the authority on premium pricing and what is sellable.
6. Turn on auto-renewal
A lapsed domain can be re-registered by anyone. Auto-renewal is the cheapest insurance there is.
Lost? Here's what you need to know about domains
What is a domain?
A domain name is how people find your site. It's far easier to remember than the IP address it points to.
How do I transfer my domain?
Already own a name elsewhere? Move it to Serverlys and keep the time you paid for.
Domain transferHosting + domain
Your domain is the address; hosting keeps the site online. Run both from one Serverlys account, on one bill.
